This 3 day workshop is all about telling your story through composition. Have you always been confused about how to use composition?  It can seem like a lot of rules. This workshop will help you turns those rules into tools and give you the control to tell your story in your art. 

 

 

Day one: We all have a story beneath our art. Today we will explore how to figure out what your story is. Your “What”. Learning how to use thumbnails and the principles of design to tell your story.

 

Day two: Colour Play. Find out how colour can tell mood, change the season, mix colour chords to find harmony and more.  We will play with a variety of references. Feel free to bring along any references that you would like to work from.

 

Day three: Your project. This is your day to find your own stories using all the tools you have learned to create your artwork.
